Speaking about me, I personally believe that travelling to your native place is a chance to know more information about it. Firstly, when you have a trip around your country you can learn about its history and how it was formed. Secondly, it is an opportunity to know the traditions and your culture. You can visit museums with old works of art, traditional costumes and historical tools.

However, there are people who take the opposite point of view.

According to their opinion, it is not necessary to travel somewhere, because you can find all information about your country in books and on the Internet. You can also watch historical films and programs on TV.

I strongly disagree with their opinion. When you travel in your country you have an opportunity to talk with the indigenous population. They can tell you many interesting facts about your country, which you will not find in other sources.
