Nowadays science plays a dominant role in our modern world. Some people say that science is the most important thing to be financed while others consider that it is a waste of money.

I strongly believe that people should put a lot of money to make our world thrive. First and foremost, science helps us develop different technologies that facilitate the working process and improve labor productivity. Therefore, it makes our life easier. Secondly, funding of science helps to develop new medicines and find cures for previously incurable diseases. Thus, it increases people’s life expectancy.

However, there are some people who might disagree with my point of view. In their opinion, governments must not invest in science because a lot of countries use the achievements of scientific progress primarily in industry and the development of the industrial sector often causes a lot of ecological problems, which are now bare of our society.

I cannot agree with this idea. Nowadays people are trying hard to reduce their environmental impact and science helps us with that. For instance, thank scientific progress out society can abandon gasoline and start using the energy of the Sun.

To sum up, I would like to stress that science funding improves the quality of our lives and makes our life better. 213

Nowadays choosing the future profession is one of the most difficult decisions for teenagers. Some people say that they should know who they want to be from an early age, while others do not agree with this statement.

I strongly believe that the early choice of a career is the key to success. First and foremost, the sooner you make the career choice the more time you have to gain knowledge about different professional aspects of your future job. Secondly, teenagers gain more professional experience due to their ability to receive knowledge faster than adults. Therefore, the earlier teenagers decide with the profession, the more successful they will be.

However, there are some people who might disagree with my point of view. In their opinion, teenagers should wait until they decide which career path they want to have because it will save them from making mistakes and choosing a wrong path that will not lead the success.

I cannot agree with these ideas. Even if a teenager has chosen a wrong career, he will still have a lot of time to try again. Moreover, making mistakes will give him experience, which can help make the right choices.

To sum up, I would like to stress that choosing a profession early gives a lot of opportunities and can become the key to success.
