ÏÎÈÑÊ:Shopping malls are always better than small corner shops (Ñî÷èíåíèÿ ÅÃÝ àíãëèéñêèé ÿçûê)The issue of shopping places is relevant nowadays but still it is rather controversial. Some people claim that shopping centers are invariably better than small corner stores. Others state that shopping malls are not always better in comparison with little corner shops. I am inclined to believe that shopping malls are always better than small corner stores. To begin with, in shopping centers people have a larger variety of goods that can attract attention in comparison with small corner shops where the availability of products is limited. Another argument is that shopping malls offer people an opportunity to go shopping, as well as to have a meal during a break and to entertain themselves, which corner shops do not provide with. However, some people tend to believe that shopping centers are not invariably better than small corner stores. As they see it, sometimes goods in shopping centers are overpriced, while the cost of the same products in small corner shops is reasonable, so shopping centers are not always better than corner stores. I cannot agree with the idea above. My opponents fail to understand that corner shops may sell substandard goods pretending their quality is good and corresponds to the price which might lead to the disappointment of customers. At the same time, the quality of all goods in shopping centers is supervised, so it is undoubtedly better to go shopping to shopping malls than to corner stores. All in all, there are two points of view on the issue of shopping places. I am strongly convinced that shopping centers are always better than small corner shops.
