Some people think that in the future traditional shops will disappear and all shopping will be on line with home delivery (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

Shops in the future… There are different points of view on this matter. Some people say that technology would allow one to do shopping at home whereas others believe traditional shops would still be needed.

As far as I am concerned, even in the future quick and automated home delivery would be a difficult thing to materialize. To start with, that kind of shipping would be executed by people who also want to rest and to order something to their house. Moreover, there are people who cannot afford such a luxury as they live in remote areas or do not have enough money for that, so they have to do shopping manually. In addition, there are many little shops which incomes are too small to afford an automated shipping across the world.

In contrast, there is an opinion that traditional shops will soon be the rare things to see as elderly people will gladly take advantage of that service because of their physical weakness.

Then, such people also admit that the progress is moving towards the gradual automation of everything we do — we have cars to drive instead of walking on foot so there is a quite real possibility to invent some way to deliver goods at home.

In fact, I cannot agree with them because many people are not interested in that service: some of them jog in the mornings or go to the gym so it is not difficult for them to shop on their own. Actually, people should understand that making their life so much more easier would be a great problem for them in the future.

In conclusion, I would like to state that traditional shops will remain needed in the future since home delivery always has been an expensive service and in the future its price will not be changed.
