Parents should have the right to control their children’s online activities (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

It goes without saying that people have different opinions about children’s online activities. Some people think that parents should control their children’s actions in the Internet. Others consider that children does not need control in the Internet.
From my point of view, children’s online activities should be under a parent’s control. First and foremost, kids can see information that can be forbidden for them, because of their age. For example, they can see some scary thing like murder. Furthermore, children do not know how to use a computer properly. For instance, they can click on virus link, that can be dangerous for computer. Finally, children do not know how to recognize internet scammers, and they can become a victim of the online crime.
The child can chat with anonymous people who turns out to be dangerous for him.
However, there is another opinion that children should be free in their online activities. It is their view that children will become more responsible if they are free in their actions. They can make mistakes, but it will prevent them from such actions in their future life. Moreover, parents can install a special secure browser for kids. Such browsers prevent kids from questionable queries on the Internet, scammers and other bad things.
Nonetheless, I do not share the opposing opinion because not every child can be trusted to be independent in online activities. Children are not mature for all actions
To sum up, I’m convinced that controlling children is a must for parents because it can prevent children from bad consequences.
