Children should help their parents about the house (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

There is a wide-spread opinion that children ought to help their mothers and fathers to do household chores. However, opinions on this matter are different.

In my opinion, it is necessary for children to help their parents with household duties. First of all, doing their daily chores children learn to be responsible. Secondly, if girls and boys help their parents about the house, they free up extra time for the rest. In this case, children and their parents can spend much time together talking, playing board games or walking. Lastly, extra household responsibilities teach them to appreciate hard work, become more precise and prepared for life.

Nevertheless, some people believe that it is not a good idea for children to help their parents about the house.

They can break or spoil something that could have serious consequences, for example, an injury. Moreover, household chores steal childhood, children should play a lot, read, develop their minds, and not wash dishes or dust.

However, I cannot agree with the above point of view. Cleaning of the house is carried out under the supervision of parents, and it is very difficult for a child to get injured. Furthermore, cleaning can be fun, and it will not be burdensome for the child.

In conclusion, I would like to say that tastes differ. However, I think that children should help their fathers and mothers with daily home chores.
