The production and sale of genetically-modified food should be banned (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

Nowadays a problem of genetically modified food is widespread all over the world. This food appears on the shelves of our supermarket every day. There are a lot of discussions between supporters and opponents.

Personally, I want genetically modified food to be prohibited. First and foremost, this kind of food is harmful for our health because food components will affect immune system. Consequently, you will often get sick. Secondly, the antibiotics and hormones given to cows or chickens are found in our bodies. This can lead to allergic reactions or hormonal changes. Moreover, genetically modified food looks better, that is why many people will want to buy exactly this product. As a result, most corporations will want to make money by producing chemically beautiful food but not healthy.

However, some experts claim that genetically modified food has benefits and it should be allowed.

Firstly, they say that it can help to solve food crisis because such food is resistant to environmental influences. So, we can save humanity. In addition, genetically modified food grows fast and keeps fresh longer.

Nevertheless, I do not agree with an opposing opinion because nowadays there are so many opportunities to save people from hanger without harming their health. We can develop farming techniques to grow food easier.

To sum up, I still believe that we should not consume genetically modified food as all vitamins die there and our body can not develop in the right way. That is all i wanted to say about this question/
