Humanity has different views on how criminals should be judged. A big group of people are inclined to believe that the death penalty is the best way to deal with murderers and series crimes. While there is a substantial number of others who believe that killing people because of their mistakes is wrong. Personally, I can not agree with these opinions. In my essay, I am going to discuss this theme.

First of all, if the death penalty is allowed everywhere, people who were going to commit the crime will rethink their actions and values.

Not all people are ready to end their lives because of couple hundred bucks which could be the result of their crimes. Secondly, there is a lot of money spent on keeping criminals in prisons. That is why it is much more beneficially for the society to have death penalty instead of having big prisons with offenders.

On the other hand, a lot of people believe that it is not humanely at all to take somebody’s life. Who gave us the right to do it? People make mistake, but is that a reason to kill them? A lot of people persistently think that everybody can improve their behaviour and change themselves. That is why the death penalty is not the best solution.

To conclude, having or not the death penalty is a very controversial question. The possible solution has different advantages and disadvantages. It is better to commit no crime and not to worry about consequences at all but in the real society people have to judge criminals with the help of conscientious and socially beneficial ways.
