Mobile phones are useful educational tools to have in the classroom (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

Nowadays, the problem of using mobile phones by children at school causes a great discussion and controversy. Some people consider that pupils need to use cellphones during their lessons while others are convinced that students are not supposed to use their mobile phones in the classroom.

In my opinion, telephones are not good educational tools at school. Firstly, mobile phones distract pupils from the process of studying.

Because of them children have an access to the Internet and as a result, they play video games or chat with friends instead of listening a teacher. Secondly, modern students spend too much time with their gadgets during a day, which is very harmful for their eyesight. Therefore, pupils should give some time for the rest for their eyes from luminous screens. That is why children should not use cellphones in the classroom.

However, there are people who have the opposite opinion.

They believe that mobile phones are really valuable devices for education because they help students to find necessary information for lessons without wasting a lot of time.

Despite my respect for their opinion mentioned above, I cannot share it. I think that it is better for pupils to find needful materials for their subject in textbooks or special educational handbooks because this occupation teaches them to work with the different kinds of texts without any difficulties and it can be useful for them in their future job.

In conclusion, I would like to say that there are two different opinions on this problem. I am inclined to believe that cellphones should not be used by students during a school day.
