Exams can motivate students to study harder пример (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)Nowadays the problem of the necessity of exams has become a matter of heated debates. Some people claim that exams help pupils to study diligently, while others consider them as the most stressful thing in one’s life. Personally, I think that exams ruin students’ nervous systems. To start with, pupils are too busy with preparing for exams and doing their homework, thus, they do not sleep enough to absorb information successfully. Additionally, pupils are permanently in desperate stress, they cannot concentrate on something else except exams; therefore, they cannot relax nor have a rest. Besides, if one fails the exams, his or her life becomes a sheer nightmare: he or she loses self-confidence and, perhaps, becomes more vulnerable. However, the supporters of another point of view are assured that exams raise motivation for studying harder. Firstly, knowing that passing exams can help one to enter prestigious universities and, consequently, get a highly-paid job truly motivates students. Secondly, hoping that good results in exams can help pupils to become more purposeful and, possibly, gain success in future may enthuse many girls and boys. Nevertheless, I cannot agree with these arguments as they lack sufficient ground. To begin with, passing exams does not guarantee one a place at a good university or job and realization of this fact may affect a pupil badly and make them not want to study further. Moreover, getting bad results can just destroy one’s life and to lose a reason for life. In conclusion, I want to state that exams can either motivate pupils or make their desire to learn disappear. It depends on whether a person is mentally strong or not. Обновлено: Опубликовал(а): d_pl03 Внимание! Спасибо за внимание.
