Nowadays, when there are so many outstanding technological breakthroughs, people often wonder whether science is the first thing in which money should be invested. Some of them claim that modern science development leads to very dangerous and unpredictable situations, while others consider it as a wonderful phenomenon that needs to be developed.

Personally, I hold the opinion that science helps gain spectacular success and it is necessary to finance it. To start with, science can make it possible to cure people of AIDS, cancer and tuberculosis completely and let people live longer. Additionally, inventions like washing machines that clean one’s clothes and dry them or automobiles where a person sleeps without any discomfort can simplify peoples’ life and save their time.

Besides, some technologies may make it possible to explore the world profoundly and know what creatures surround humanity.

However, the supporters of another point of view are assured that science is not significant, it is hazardous, so it should not be financed.

Firstly, people are afraid of robots that can subjugate humanity. Secondly, there is an opinion that scientific research is very nebulous and untrustworthy, so it is risky to fund it.

Nevertheless, I cannot agree with these arguments as they lack sufficient ground. To begin with, there are humans who created robots and they know how to deal with them. In addition, it is necessary to know more about the research or exploration that one wants to sponsor in order not to lose money.

In conclusion, I want to state that science is a crucial part of people's lives. Consequently, it is important to develop it with the help of money.
