Nowadays exams cause a lot of controversies. Some people tend to believe that exams are a good motivation to study harder, while others keep the opposite point of view.
As far as I am concerned, exams unequivocally motivate students to study harder. First of all, results of exams may affect a student’s admission to university. Most of students dream to study in the best universities of the world, so they study hard to get high scores.
Secondly, there are students who do not want to disappoint their family or friends, so they study hard to satisfy people’s expectations.
y the way, there exists the opposite point of view. Some people claim that exams aren’t a motivation to study harder at all. Oppositely, students get nervous about upcoming exams and cannot concentrate on studying.
Undoubtedly, there is such an aspect as stress before exams, but I think that student who has started preparing for exams in advance and has got a certain plan of preparation will be sure in their success and high scores for exams.
To sum up, I want to say that exams are one of challenges which we all have to take, it is a good chance to deepen one’s knowledge and enter to the university and continue studying.
