40. 2. Designer labels are nothing but a waste of money.

Nowadays the issue of designer labels causes a great discussion in the society. While some people believe that designer clothes are too expensive and not worth the money, others say that the ends justify the means. Now I would like to express my point of view on this issue.

I strongly believe that designer labels are not a waste of money. Firstly, high price tells us if the clothes are in fashion.

You pay for the fact that it is a designer thing. Secondly, this garment is qualitative and made of well fabric or even tailored.

There is another side to this issue. My opponents claim that expensive designer's clothes can be replaced with mass produced items which are cheaper and more fashionable too. For this reason mass - market mass market is so popular among teenagers.

In spite of this convincing argument, I strongly believe that mass - market clothes are just copies of designer label. Economic wear has poor quality because it was produced by people who work for little pay and in terrible conditions. Buying these items, people support plagiarism and cheap labour.

In conclusion, if people have an opportunity and money to buy designer clothes, it is worth giving preference to this apparel. I strongly believe that the cost of expensive clothing is justified by its quality, design and environmental friendliness.
