Living in a big city has more advantages than disadvantages (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

Millions of people live in big cities. Some people are happy living in a city and think there are a lot of advantages of this lifestyle. At the same time the other people hold an opinion, there are more disadvantages, they dream of living in the countryside.

Personally, I think there are a lot of benefits of living in the city. Firstly, there are a lot of educational facilities: colleges, universities. Owing to this fact people can get a good education, a well-paid job. Secondly, modern cities provide people with excellent cultural facilities. People can enrich their life with cultural masterpieces, go to the theaters and museums. Finally, there is usually a choice of public transport, so you do not need to own a car.

However, other people think living in the city has more drawbacks than benefits.

They consider the level of air pollution is very high. They are sure, the air is so dirty that it is impossible to breath. In addition, everything is very expansive in the city. City-dwellers should pay high prices for accommodation and food.

Nevertheless, I completely disagree with the previous opinion. Nowadays the government installs purifying systems in the factories to clean the air. As for a prices, I believe the quality of service is much higher, so people pay for them. But in cities can afford such prices, as their salary is rather high.

In conclusion, I would like to say, life in the city has more pluses than minuses. People in cities have all modern conveniences and career prospects. City life can be particularly appealing to young people, who do not mind the noise and pollution.
