At all times people prefer travelling to other countries. Some people claim that it is enough useful hobby that helps to understand their country, while others argue that they should not go abroad. In this essay I would like to express my point of view in this issue.

I tend to agree with the first statement. To start with, travelling abroad makes you compare the traditions of foreign countries with your own ones. Mentality of foreigners and their culture is a reason why a person starts understanding own country better. Moreover, sometimes people begin to think overwise about their homeland after travelling to other country. They start to appreciate some things which were not noticed by them.

However, some people consider that travelling abroad do not play any role in understanding own country because learning new traditions and lifestyle can put their heads.

I am afraid I cannot agree with this idea.

On my opinion, comparison makes people see differences and similarities, so due to travelling abroad you can understand your own country better.

In conclusion, I would like to say that going abroad will be an useful thing if you want to learn new something and understand your homeland.
