As for your questions, Russian children usually go to school when they are 6 or 7 years old. My best memory about primary school is finishing it. I was really glad to convince myself that I was no longer a little boy and that in the 5th grade I would already be an adult. I see my old friends from the primary school quite often as we live in the same district. By the way, in your letter you told me that you had started boxing.

Are you a beginner in this type of sport? Do you want to stay fit, or to learn how to protect yourself? Aren’t you afraid of being injured?

Having pets makes your life difficult

Nowadays there is a prevailing opinion that owning a pet means having a lot of difficulties in your life. However, there is also an opposing opinion. I am going to look upon this issue in more detail.

Personally, I share the first point of view. I think that a pet may become a big problem for some inexperienced owners. Firstly, domestic animals demand a lot of attention. For example, you have to walk your dog every day. Having an unusual pet like a turtle means cleaning its terrarium, which can take a lot of your time. Secondly, some people travel frequently, so if they own a pet, every time they leave home, they have to pay someone who would look after their animal.

However, there are some people who do not share my opinion. They assert that the problem of leaving the pet alone may be easily solved by asking your family to look after the animal.

Although this point of view is all in all fair, I cannot agree with it. Firstly, some people just do not have any friends or relatives to ask for a favor like this. Secondly, even if a person has an opportunity to leave his pet with someone for free, he still needs to spend time to transport his domestic animal to another place. And I am sure that most people just do not have a free minute.

To sum up, I would like to say that owning a pet demands a lot of responsibility. So, if you are not sure that you have enough of time and money to spend on an animal, you should better abandon the idea of buying one.
