Global environmental issues are the responsibility of richer nations, not poorer ones (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)Nowadays people are getting more and more concerned about global problems. There is an opinion that solving serious environmental issues should be put on shoulders of rich countries, while others claim it is an obligation of all nations and countries. Personally, I believe that global environmental problems are the problems of both rich and poor nations. Firstly, the word “global” means that it applies to people all over the world, not only to some of them. In this way, only by uniting forces people can solve such major problems as global warning, deforestation, desertification, air and water pollution, acid rains which affect all areas of the Earth. Secondly, the biggest threat to the environment is humanity, the majority of the world’s population lives in developing countries which are the largest polluters. Even if developed nations take actions, it does not mean that other poorer countries will stop pumping harmful emissions in the atmosphere. Nevertheless, there are those who think otherwise. They assume that developed and wealthy countries have a bigger impact on ecological situation than poor ones because they work in factories, plants and works which pollute air and water. I strongly object to this statement. Such problems as pollution, biosphere degradation, ozone layer depletion concern all countries, not the only ones with high level of development. To conclude, I think that solving world’s ecological problems is a challenging task, perhaps even the most difficult. Nevertheless, if all humanity combines its forces in finding a solution to these problems, people will find the way to save our planet. 271 w. Обновлено: Опубликовал(а): Анастасия Юрасова Внимание!
