Dear George,

Thanks for your letter! Sorry for not being in touch for so long- I was very busy last month. I’m glad to hear you’ve had a nice vacation.

In your letter you asked me if I want to see some photos I’ve made. Of course I do but I’m afraid I can’t offer you any help with photoshopping because I don’t do it all.

ut I’m sure you can find video lessons about Photoshop on Youtube and learn everything there.

By the way, what was the most realistic sculpture in Madam Tussaud’s Museum? Did you see crown’s treasures in Tower? Did you learn something about Britain’s tea traditions?

But I have to go now- it’s time for an evening walk with my dog.

The age of sixteen opens the final period of being a teenager but still it is a hard time for all teenagers.

But does it have any positive sides? In this essay I will try to look upon this issue.

In my opinion, despite all the difficulties being on “the border age” has its pluses. Firstly, it combines the best of two periods of our lives- independence and freedom of adulthood and nonchalance of youth. Secondly, it is the time when a former child begins to see a previously simple world in a more complex and deep way- and sometimes a teenager can be afraid of it but in other times he is fascinated with whole new possibilities and opportunities which opens before him.

ut some people claim they would like to forget about that period of their life. Being sixteen gave them only new problems-worries about school marks and exams, friends, status and appearance.

I cannot agree with this opinion because being sixteen is not only about getting in trouble - it is about reopening a previously simple world in a new way, seeing it as deep and complex. Yes, sometimes it can be hard for a teenager but we cannot develop and move forward without going through some struggles.

To sum up, the issue of understanding of “border age” is still to be discussed but I believe sixteen is one of the best times of our lives as we get new look on the world
