It is wrong to make pupils read a lot in summer example (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

There is no denying the fact that school gives a big list of books which students have to read in summer. Some people claim that it is normal practice while others think that reading a lot is a big pressure for children in summer.

From my point of view, summer reading of school books is a wrong thing. Firstly, summer holidays is a good way to relax and spend time with relatives and friends. As a result, reading is not a priority for pupils in summer, and they do not read much. Secondly, school literature is boring and uninteresting therefore students read other books in summer.

However, many people believe that children should read all summer literature from school because it is necessary for future study. Moreover, they can read it in their own mode.

Nevertheless, I cannot agree with this opinion because school books are difficult and incomprehensible.

It is hard to work out with it for children without teachers’ help. Besides, students often forget what they read in summer or confuse with ideas of these books.

Taking everything into consideration, there are two opposing points of view on the problem of summer reading. As I see it, schools should allow their students to read as much as they can and want.
